 We are currently recruiting an ambitious Senior Architect to join our IoT team. You will play a pivotal role in defining and building our IoT technology roadmap and evolution. This includes deep dive into the IoT building blocks, differentiators, services, managing partners & vendors and contributing to business strategy.

 You will be working with a creative team where we expect our team members to make key decisions and take ownership over their projects. We highly encourage collaboration with our engineering teams across all projects.

 Job Duties/ Responsibilities: 

• Be part of our Architecture Runway team
  • Be a member of our Architecture Community of Practice, help review proposed Architectures in our Architecture Governance
  • Drive alignment across the organization
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend changes to existing systems and services, approaches, product design, etc
• Using business requirements, and input from stakeholders, identify the functional, and non-functional technical requirements of the solution
• Do internal and market research in order to deliver a proposed solution, architecture and recommendation, which could be to build, buy, or partner, back to stakeholders and management.

 Critical Skills/ Qualifications:

• Leadership experience (tech lead, team lead, manager, or similar)
• Experience in designing and implementing solutions or platforms:
  • Solution exploration, vendor selection, etc
  • Architecting and designing of solution deployments
  • Engineering and capacity management of large-scale platforms
  • Being a subject matter expert and system owner, day-to-day operation
• Experience building on, and deploying into public cloud and SaaS services.
• Innovation skills including Curiosity, Agility, Strategic Thinking.
• Understanding of a broad scope of technologies, including infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, database, security, networking, etc
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
• Understanding of both the product side and technical side

 Preferred Qualifications:

• IoT Experience
• Knowledge/experience/understanding of new technology waves: IoT, SDN, 5G and MEC.
  • Related Certifications is a plus
• Telco Experience, eg: IMS and Connectivity Platforms.
• Knowledge/experience with Software Development:
  • Microservice architecture and development.
  • SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), including deployment and maintenance processes.
  • DevOps & DevSecOps concepts
• Experience in the business technology market, and expertise working closely with sales and marketing teams in SaaS solutions or related technical fields.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean, SAFe frameworks.
• Understanding of product development framework (eg : lean product development)
