Your main challenges
- Analyze and monitor individual securities, exchange-traded funds, investment funds and all other types of securities that may be included in investment portfolios
- Build and update portfolio models
- Track portfolio performance
- Produce financial reports
- Ensure that new tools are developed and implemented to optimize operational efficiency and financial information quality
- Stay informed about major economic developments
- Solve complex problems
- Assist managers in preparing proposals for new clients
- Play an active role in preparing Investment Committee bi-monthly meetings
- Attend various meetings with different internal and external partners and maintain excellent relationships with them.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance AND five years of experience in the securities industry OR a Master's degree and 3 years of experience in the securities industry
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course is essential
- CFA Charterholder and/or CIM designation, an asset
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Knowledge of the Croesus 8+ application, an asset
- Ability to summarize information
- Ability to provide quick and efficient service
- Organizational and priority management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English(an asset) and French (essential)
