Responsibilities

  • Under guidance of senior technicians - Install, Commission, Optimize, Repair, and Maintain all network infrastructure equipment (Government Radio, Dispatch Center, Cellular HSPA, LTE, 5G, in-building)
  • Perform administrative duties, documentation and inventory updates
  • Work off-normal shifts as required
  • Perform work in remote locations on a planned and/or unplanned (emergency) basis

 Skills

  • Post secondary education (first to third-year students working towards a university degree/college diploma) in telecommunications, electronics, computer or network engineering, preferably with courses in radio frequency propagation (however, if you believe you are up for the challenge with a different degree, you are welcome to apply)
  • Computer competencies and/or training including Microsoft office applications
  • Networking and IP competencies
  • Written, oral and inter-personal skills are required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to demonstrate responsible motor vehicle operation
  • A clear Bell corporate /Police security background check is required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills are a given;
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, take initiative, strong problem solving skills, life learner
