Must-haves:
· 10+ years’ experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of applications with over 10,000 users
· Lead, mentor and grow a QA team.
· Managing, developing, and mentoring 6-8 QA Analysts, helping them prioritize and helping them with their deliverables
· 10+ years progressive QA experience on COTS and/or SaaS-based systems
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical skills 40%
· 10+ years’ experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of applications with over 10,000 users
· 10+ years progressive QA experience on COTS and / or SaaS based systems
· 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, writing and executing test cases catering to large application implementations
· 10+ years’ experience triaging, analyzing, diagnosing / troubleshooting, evaluating options, and resolving quality assurance problems, ideally those related to identity and access management systems
· 5+ years’ experience in test automation development testing API’s and web service technologies (i.e. REST, SOAP)
· 5+ years’ experience using test automation tools like Azure DevOps, Selenium, ReadyAPI
· 5+ years’ experience with test management, testing automation, and defect management tools
· Extensive experience with testing web apps and working with HAR files
· Experience testing RESTful API implementations by using tools such as Postman Databases and the SQL Language, JSON, XML, XSLT and XML schemas
· EAI principles and technologies and data transformation techniques
· Experience with Accessibility Ontario Disability Act (AODA) testing by using tools such as WAVE
· Experience in analyzing test results and submitting detail bug descriptions using defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps / VSTS
· Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management
· Experience with testing tools, such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team Server (VSTS)
Management / Leadership skills 40%
• Lead, mentor and grow a QA team. Managing, developing, and mentoring 6-8 QA Analysts, helping them prioritize and helping them with their deliverables
· Prioritize and estimate QA work to be done alongside Vendor, Product Owner, Project Managers, Systems Analysts and Business Analysts to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Provide regular QA progress status updates
· Responsible for overall leadership of the QA team on various initiatives and leading all aspects of end-to-end planning and execution from a functional and non-functional testing standpoint
· This role will be the escalation point for QA well as other partners for all QA related issues, impediments or blockers
