Reporting to the Library and Knowledge Services Manager you will draw upon your specialised subject domain knowledge and experience and work with individuals, teams and departments to identify their information, research, and learning needs and consequently design, develop and promote client-focused services, programmes and resources. You will need to be proactive in establishing excellent working relationships. Your written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and your teamwork skills coupled with sound judgment, initiative and creativity will ensure successful partnerships and relationships with your client groups and colleagues at all levels.

To really shine in this role you will be a confident communicator with exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, have the ability to work independently just as easily as working collaboratively in a team environment and thrive on establishing and maintaining relationships.
This role will require you to hold a NZ recognised tertiary library qualification with a minimum of 3-4 years relevant library experience. Qualifications and experience in a related field such as education, health or research will be considered. The is a permanent part time being 32 hours per week (0.8FTE). There is flexibility around the days and hours of work between Monday and Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
