Our Industry Advisors provide thought leadership within their given industry, build strong executive relationships with our customers, support our Account Teams with uncovering and driving digital transformation projects and liaise with our partner ecosystem to help uncover industry specific solutions. This is a role that has it all.

Responsibilities

The kind of activities you would be involved with include:

• Driving change to digital transformation by leveraging your deep understanding of the industry, its drivers, and critical solutions needed to drive growth with new and existing customers. Leading conversations with account decision makers using demonstrations and business cases to bring innovative ideas that showcase the need for strategic change.
• Providing insight and feedback from customers and partners to worldwide counterparts and industry teams to help with best practices and with learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation.
• Engaging with senior decision makers in the industry and educating and influencing them during interactions on Microsoft's strategy, products, services, and existing features of the digital portfolio.
• Generating demand through high profile and large scale industry events and other activities/presentation/customer events. Developing compelling, value-proposition content that showcases Microsoft's and partners' products, services, and solutions to generate business.

Qualifications

You don't need to be a Microsoft expert, we can teach you that, but as this is an industry specific role, you will need one of the following:

• Proven deep industry domain expertise in the retail industry
• Expertise working in a business role at a company in the target industry
• Solution selling experience preferably in the target industry
