Come join our Customer Engagement Team, responsible for managing portfolio of executive-level programs and a network of state-of-art centers designed to deepen customer and partner relationships, accelerate cloud growth, and inspire through the art of the possible.
We are seeking an experiential marketer and team/culture leader to join Microsoft’s Customer Engagement Team (CET), leading Immersive Experiences for both virtual and in-person customer engagements. This includes creating industry-defining, immersive experiences within our CET global centers, managing the installation and planning processes, timelines, stakeholder expectations & communications, and measurement of customer impact.
In this role you will begin with the customer’s desired business outcomes in mind and translate that into high-impact, interactive, and engaging industry-focused product and solution experiences across multiple global locations and that can be delivered to customers virtually.  The ideal candidate would be a strong team leader, passionate storyteller, natural collaborator, and be able to effectively communicate with senior level stakeholders, partners, and customers. The candidate should be a strategic and creative thinker and be able to translate complex technology concepts into easily consumable customer-facing experiences. 
Responsibilities
Drive the co-creation of the Customer Experience Team Immersive Experiences strategy and planning that we bring to market by Industry and Solution Area.
Lead a 3 person FTE team of Immersive Experience professionals; manage vendor/agency resources; serve as people and culture leader.
Partner closely with field resources to understand how the Center and our immersive experience stories can help accelerate the sales pipeline.
Lead the orchestration of immersive experiences across teams to deliver customer and sales impact
Support the team in writing scripts that speak to the “how†and “why†of these digital transformation stories
Build immersive experiences with props and technology to timeline and budget
Work with the field to build a robust pipeline of innovative customer and partner stories that represent Global and Local markets
Manage program performance and metrics, communicate program updates to leadership and stakeholder, and act as an evangelist for the program
Be hands on helping to problem-solve, personally managing selected engagements and special events, and interacting with customers as a host and speaker.
Identify and share trends, business needs, challenges, and feedback from customer engagements, and provide feedback on existing content and ongoing ideas for potential new offers to be developed.
Expected travel ~25%
Qualifications
10+ years of marketing/experiential design experience required.
15 +years of customer program/project management experience preferably for a technology company or provider required.
5+ years of direct people management experience; demonstrated culture and people leadership.
Track record of successfully managing strategy through to operationalizing, including prioritization of resources.
Experience managing budgets 
Strong project management skills with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously 
Creative thinking and ability to design and optimize new processes and solutions 
Problem solving and escalation management in a complex environment 
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements 
Exceptional communications and collaboration skills with experience successfully interacting and collaborating across a broad set of stakeholders
Executive Presence and polish; ability to communicate with senior-level executives internally and with customers
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) required.
