About the role | Mō te tÅ«nga 

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor in our People and Leadership team in Auckland. The HR Advisor role is responsible for providing sound advice and support to our people leaders on all aspects of people management in accordance with best practice and relevant NZ legislation.

The focus of the HR Advisor is to provide systems, processes and HR information to enable the delivery of work. They also support the Senior HR Advisors to provide day to day ER/HR support and advice to our people leaders and other aspects of operational ER/HR.

 

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

  • A qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is desirable
  • Previous experience in HR, or related field at an advisory level
  • Some ER experience is also highly desirable
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to manage multiple and competing demands of a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Detailed knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices and can relate this to an organisational context
  • Awesome communication skills tailored for your audience
  • An inclusive and approachable working style, you understand that diversity adds value
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
  • A willingness to travel within New Zealand to fulfil the requirements of the role
