Western Australian Specialty Alloys (WASA) is an international market leader in the production of superalloys for forging and ring rolling applications for a range of aerospace, power generation and oil & gas applications. Airbus, Boeing, GE, Rolls-Royce and many other leading manufacturers depend on PCC for critical airframe, engine, power generation and general industrial components. With few exceptions, every aircraft in the sky flies with parts manufactured by PCC.

About the Role

Based in our Canning Vale office and reporting to the General Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Talent management – coordinate talent review cycle including performance management, talent reviews, succession plans, career development planning and diversity and inclusion
• Industrial relations/Employee relations – represent the business in agreement negotiations; investigate and resolve workplace grievances; assist managers with counselling & disciplinary matters
• HR strategy – develops and implements HR strategies (local and corporate)
• Business partnering – collaborates effectively with management on all Human Resource matters impacting the business
• HR reporting – report on HR related metrics in line with business requirements
• Employee engagement – ensure  engagement strategies are implemented; coordinated; and maintained

About You

To be successful in this role you it is likely you will have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Proven experience as a HR Manager
• Tertiary qualifications in HR management
• Computer literacy (MS Office, HRMIS)
• Experience interpreting legislation and industrial Awards
• Experience with policy development
• Experience using psychometric tools
