Our busy client in Edmonton is currently seeking an HR Specialist to join their task-oriented team for a contract role.

As the HR Specialist, your day to day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the recruitment of new hires
• Creating profiles
• Posting and managing job descriptions
• Sourcing, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews
• Drafting offer letters
• Background checks
• Gathering all documentation and arranging orientations
• Benefit Administration
• Employee Relations
• Ad hoc duties

Requirements

Build on your current experience as an HR Specialist with our client. The successful HR Specialist will possess the following:

• 5+ years of previous HR, Recruitment, or related experience
• Post- Secondary degree in HR Management, Business or related filed
• Completion or progress towards CPHR Designation
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong initiative
• Available to start immediately
