THE ROLE 

Resulting from significant growth across the business, this newly created position will be responsible for the management of all HRM functions across our Blue-Collar workforce.

 Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role will be a welcome and key addition to our broader HR team. The position will be ideally suited to an experienced HR professional who has a passion for HR, can communicate well at all levels and has a strong understanding of the operational requirements of the Freight Forwarding industry.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of the full employment life-cycle for all Blue-Collar employees
• Establishing yourself as the main HR contact in relation to policy, procedure and performance management for all Blue-Collar team members
• Management of the talent search process for all relevant positions
• Coordination of all onboarding, induction and exit activities
• Liaison and collaboration with key stakeholders and OHS team as required
• Contribution to new initiatives and efficiencies
• Regular collaboration and communication with the broader HR team
• Report preparation as required

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification in HR or related field 
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Strong knowledge of  Industrial Relations and Australian Employment Law
• An inherent proactive attitude and can-do approach to work
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional eye for detail and high level of accuracy 
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Capacity for travel to other offices within VIC and interstate as required
• Ability to liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders on various levels and maintain strict confidentiality
• Experience using intelliHR and HR3 is preferred but not essential
