ARHOP Service provides a specialist inpatient, outpatient and community service for adult rehabilitation and geriatric medicine. We are dedicated to improving and maintaining health and independence of people who often have multiple or complex needs.
Health Care Assistants are an integral part of our team, working closely with nursing staff to provide clinical and non-clinical assistance to patients, ensuring a consistently high quality of care is received. In addition to patient care, responsibilities include general duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the ward. This is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.
You will have a strong commitment to providing patient focused care as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a team player with strong organisational and time management skills, you will be adaptable, open to change and able to relate well to people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
We are offering an opportunity to work across our 3 wards here in Middlemore hospital - Ward 4, ward 5 and ward 24. Our wards deliver Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation services with a Multidisciplinary partnership, providing patient focused care in Rehabilitation and Health of Older People.
We are looking for enthusiastic Health Care Assistants to be part of our Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will be required to work under the delegation of a Registered Nurse to aid patients, ensuring a consistently high quality of care is received.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and enjoys working as a team member in a multidisciplinary team. We offer a comprehensive orientation and on-going training.
