We are now hiring for a new Head Chef. Mr Go’s is a colourful and fast-paced restaurant on Taranaki St serving modern Pan-Asian cuisine. Quality, quick and tasty is what we're after. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef, or equally a Sous Chef looking for their next step. We open seven days a week and have exciting plans for growth in the next 12 months.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to present with:
- Several years of senior kitchen experience - reputable, high-volume establishments are advantageous.
- 'Into and Onto It' attitude with high energy levels and resilience
- Quality cooking skills, an understanding of good food.
- Ability to handle pressure
- Leadership and organisational qualities - maturity, professionalism and initiative
- Some experience training new team members, and able to continuously up-skill the team
- Reasonable computer skills and a good command of the English language.
- An understanding of the importance of our Food Control Plan
- Flexible availability across a seven-day roster, but we will work towards a set weekly roster.
- An ability to work within labour and food cost parameters
You do not need experience in Asian cuisine.
