What will you do?
- Providing effective solutions to administrative business challenges.
- Participating in development of tactical plans and programs for the organization.
- Actively monitor workflows to uncover opportunities for efficiencies and oversee the implementation of positive changes in the group’s workflows
- Supervise & educate employees to ensure understanding of RBC’s vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goals
- Effectively manage staff to provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance
- Ensures adherence of operations risk policies as outlined in policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk. Supports the implementation of new processes/initiatives within team through testing and just in time training
- Develops and monitors service quality, dealing with Service Partner/Client service issues in a professional manner
- Proactively assess obstacles and identifies opportunities to improve overall team performance
- 5+ years of Financial Operations Management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively within a geographically dispersed management team.
What you need to succeed?
Must-haves
- Undergraduate Degree
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Knowledge of Securities Processing and Settlements.
- Prior experience with Process Improvement and Risk Management
- Prior experience with Employee management and talent development
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have
- Securities lending knowledge
- French language skills
