The opportunity

The EY Technology Solution Delivery, Financial Services team is in a substantial growth phase, and as a result we are looking for high performing individual to join our successful and growing team in Sydney and Melbourne.

You will focus on assisting organisations with broad services from architecture, design and delivery for small to large implementation programs

Your key responsibilities

You will work with our insurance clients to deliver solutions across the insurance technology eco-system, including focussing on the following areas:

• Understanding business/functional requirements provided by the client and providing the high-level solution design and work estimation
• Preparing design documents
• Interacting with team members, client calls and co-ordinate work with external team
• Involved in analysis, design and implementation of User Stories
• Involved in Code reviews to ensure quality of code to deliver on sprint basis
• Involved in inbound and outbound payments monitoring and batch monitoring
• Involved in development of critical user stories or enhancements
• Involved in issue/defect fixing as part of problem ticket and incident management
• Co-ordinate sprint planning, code merge activities and demos/showcases

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• Insurance industry-based knowledge and experience
• 2-5 years’ experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Guidewire Digital Portals including integrations so external applications
• Guidewire cloud certificate (Ace level desirable) in at least one of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications
• Experience in large scale core system implementation program delivery
• Superior communication and relationship skills
• A result orientated and commercially customer focused mindset
• Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

• The ability to juggle multiple demands
• Project management qualifications/certifications
