About the Role
The role holder is responsible for producing visual solutions that meet the needs of the GMG and Business Units/departments, while combining creative skills and commercial awareness.
- Supports the creation of brand experiences though original storytelling using latest graphic design techniques for consumer-facing brand experience
- Understands the creative and business needs and determines presentation of illustrative material
- Conceptualizes, creates, and delivers digital graphics as needed for the website, e-mail blasts, and other digital collateral
- Uses graphic design applications/software in the planning process and incorporates consumer/brand insights during the design phase
- Ensures that all graphic designs are supported by clear ideation, effective use of aesthetics, scale, spacing, color, and texture
- Selects the best medium to present or produce the design concept using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques
- Researches and keep abreast of the consumers’ preferences, market trends, developments in IT to deliver innovative design elements for all brand experiences
- Works in partnership with marketing and event counterparts to facilitate marketing executions and acts as the point of contact between partners/agencies concerning design deliverables
- Works with external agency teams to conceptualize and deliver designs that match GMG’s structural and aesthetic brand standards
- Supports campaign planning and execution by designing scaled campaign material while applying established standards, formats and guidelines, and supervising adaptation from suppliers/agencies
- Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts, and ensures design content meets brand/business requirements
- Works with and utilizes 3D design softwares when needed
- Collaborates with printers to select the type of paper and printing methods; places production orders and follows up with vendors
- Designs and prepares art and copy layouts, applying established standards, formats and guidelines
- Designs corporate presentations and templates through creative concepts and usage of relevant design softwa
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in relevant field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
- Experienced in Graphic design software applications (Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Indesign, MS Office, Quark Xpress)
- Additional software knowledge are preferred (Lightroom, Flash, 3D Max, Google Sketch Up, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Dreamweaver, Keynote)
- Ability to use a wide range of mediums, including sketching, drawing, photography and computer aided design
- Video editing, Photo editing, Pre Press experience, HTML or coding Skills, 3d Skills.
