As a Governance, Treasury and Pension Fund Analyst, you will be actively involved in the governance and compliance of operational activities, producing reports and optimizing the team’s management processes and tools, as well as contributing to business development and growth.

Your role
- Analyze and open the Treasury and pension fund counterparties; ensure that documentation is obtained and risk analysis is carried out
- Coordinate with the Bank’s various sectors and complete the operational due diligence review requests needed by our counterparties
- Update our internal risk reports, identify anomalies and follow up with traders
- Update and follow up on the employee’s annual attestation and the various mandatory training courses
- Support the team in preparing and drafting various memos and communications, and update the information available on Treasury sites
- Develop a follow-up mechanism for managing IT access and directories, including trading platforms. Monitor and validate access
- Ensure monitoring of action plans produced by head office sectors
- Ensure HR compliance and coordination
- Provide administrative support
The successful candidate will work closely with team members, traders and partners in a stimulating, dynamic environment, and play a key role in managing the team’s governance.
This position reports to the Managing Director and Head of Governance, Treasury and Pension Fund, who is seeking a diligent candidate with good analytical skills and the ability to find solutions in a tight deadline environment.
Required competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience OR university certificate/ undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 3 years of relevant experience OR a three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
- An acceptable combination of experience and education will also be considered; experience in risk management and/or compliance, an asset
- Excellent communication skills and able to clearly communicate with stakeholders at various levels
- Knowledge of operations related to financial markets and banking processes, an asset
- Very good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French); excellent syntax and grammar
