Windsor RSL Club is currently one of the premier hospitality, food and entertainment venues in the region with a membership of over 50,000 members. Windsor RSL has amalgamated with Windsor Country Golf Club and have taken over the operation of their on-site Golf Shop

The focus of the organisation is to provide our members and the community with a modern and progressive Club.

We are seeking a passionate Golf Shop Instructor/Trainer who can directs daily activities of the entire golf operation in accordance with the philosophy, policy, and procedures of Windsor GC, and manage the Golf Shop to ensure the highest level of service to patrons and guests.

Requirements:

• Ensure that all patrons and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and

courteous manner.

• Establish and maintain the daily "pace of play standard."

• With approval from general manager, hire and train all golf operations team

members (employees) utilizing Windsor GC procedures.

• Undertaking the running of the weekly junior coaching clinic

• Visit local schools to promote Active Kids sports program on behalf of Windsor GC

• Schedule, manage and conduct private and group lessons for members or visitors

• Undertake club repair, golfing advice and club settings and fitting for a student or customer.

• Maintain a high profile with patrons and guests. Must positively promote the

service philosophy of Windsor GC.

• Consult with Windsor GC on merchandise purchases and maintain established acceptable

inventory levels ensuring profitability through inventory turnover and cost of sales

control guidelines.

• Maintain ordering, receiving, and storage programs as established by Windsor GC.

• Establish and maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the Golf

Shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays. Requires employee to bend, stoop,

and climb, as well as stand, for up to five (8) hours without sitting.

• Assume responsibility as the manager in the Golf Shop during the peak

periods ensuring service standards are maintained. Requires employee to stand and

walk for up to five (8) hours or more without sitting.

• Answer telephones clearly and concisely, to schedule future starting times and

communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner.

The Windsor RSL promotes a balanced work/life roster, provides free on-site car parking together with relevant uniforms and staff meals.

This is a full time role, working five days per week across a 7 day roster, inclusive of nights, weekends and public holidays.
