Xbox is seeking an experienced individual to join the newly established Global Expansion Incubator team to grow our content acquisition pipeline and Xbox gaming ecosystem awareness in the regional markets. This Program Manager will help shape the program to reach global game developers working closing with the local GXI Managers and GXI lead.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills along with strong analytics, and communications skills. This person will be a self-starter, knowing how to work with ambiguity and unknown challenges to build our global muscles in prioritized markets. As a GXI Program Manager, you’ll work with the broader GXI team and stakeholders to drive the optimization and efficiency of the program. You will be connecting the needs of the global developers and existing resources within Xbox while identifying opportunities to improve the end-to-end developers’ journey. This role will be a great opportunity for those who are interested in helping to build a new program and immersing themselves into the world of content and game development.

Responsibilities

Developers Support

• Identify the unique regional requirements and represent engineering gaps while working closely with regional GXI Managers
• Developing process excellence to reduce creator friction and enable scalable growth
• Create process and documentation to ensure developers are aware of and engaged in Xbox gaming platform

Business Development Operations

• Guide all publishing partnerships and agreements through the Microsoft contract execution process
• Drive the GXI execution and operation of Microsoft’s games initiatives across multiple product groups, subsidiaries, and regional organizations

Program Management

• Help program manage Xbox led events and programs to engage with developers
• Lead and manage externally facing GXI developers’ touchpoints (hub, web, blog, etc.)
• Ideate new ideas to activate in working with global game developers in scalable manner

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant business experience in one or more of the following: business development, strategic partnerships, strategy & operations, global projects, project management and/or program management
• Fluent in English (written and verbal communications)
• Excellent skills in all aspects of planning, cross-group collaboration, communications, capabilities
• Strong Organizational Skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills across a geographically dispersed audience
• Proven experience in program execution with measurable results
• Comfortable with traveling domestically and internationally up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Gaming Industry
• Playing video games, of any type, is a plus
• Fluent in second language is a plus (Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Portuguese etc.)
