We are seeking a junior plastic fellow to join our Plastic Surgery Unit for 1 year from early September 2022. This role is for a junior fellow and would suit an overseas candidate who wants to further their knowledge and career and take something back to their home country. This role also covers general plastic surgical on call responsibilities, requiring ability to manage hand and burn trauma along with other reconstructive emergencies.
This role is supported by 10 plastic consultants and 5 SET (training) registrars. The Plastic Surgery service is a tertiary service covering 7 district health boards from Nelson Marlborough to Wairoa.
Moū - About you
You must be able to work legally in New Zealand and have either a permanent NZ address or a work visa or permit and be eligible for the IMG registration pathway through Medical Council New Zealand.
