Join a well-established, industry leading, family operated business seeking an experienced Office Administrator.

  • Eastern Suburbs ONLY
  • Immediate start
  • Approx. 20 hours/week casual
  • MUST have excellent computer skills

Join our small Blackburn based team working from a home studio filled with natural light and surrounded by a lovely  garden.

You have great communications skills, excellent telephone manner with trades & clients & super organised !

We are looking for someone who is competent with computers, great phone communication skills & fast learner with different software as our Office Admin. Capable of working independently & flexible to help out our Team as required.

We provide products for online sales, so packaging items ranging up to 15kg, despatch to couriers and/or to Post Office is required.

If you want to work locally & for small sized company who will allow you to innovate & add systems, processes to almost every function of a small business.

You have substantial experience in similar roles within the trades and/or services industry.

Scope to expand to include into a technical roll & use be trained in software.   

 Daily duties will include:

  • Delight our customers via phone and email.
  • Manage daily emails in prompt & timely fashion.
  • Reception/customer service duties
  • Liaise within the business internal and external supplies etc
  • Digital & Social media marketing
  • Ad-hoc admin duties

Essential:

  • ADVANCED MS Office skills
  • EXCELLENT verbal and written communication
  • Experience in a similar roles within the construction industry or trade services
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience using various software platforms i.e CRM; Accounting(Xero); Quotation/Service software platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, juggling multiple tasks whilst maintaining a 'can-do' attitude

Desirable:

  • Preferable reside in eastern suburbs
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Previous track record in office process improvement and documentation
