General Manager Finance - SYDNEY Based

About you:
You have a minimum of ten years experience in a senior position in accounting and finance (in the sport/&or retail industry)
Master Degree in management, finance, accounting and tax (CBA).
You have natural visionary leadership and the capacity to define strategies and leadership development.
You have strong interpersonal skills and an excellent work ethic.
You have experience leading large teams and excel in team building.
Bonus: You have a strong experience sports retail industry that allows you to have a complete vision of the business model from procurement and supply chain management to commercial performance.
About the position:
Set up finance strategies and economic guidance to support the sustainable growth of Decathlon Australia Pty Ltd.,
Define KPIs and manage teams to improve operational efficacy and profit,
Overseeing finance, tax and legal operations
Manage project finance with external partners,
Represent Decathlon Australia Pty Ltd with external stakeholders like external auditors, government bodies, ASIC…
Prepare economic reportings, budgets, monthly forecasts and present them to the board of Directors.
Manage senior experts in accounting, finance, tax, legal and operations,
Assess risks, define guidance and implement corrective action plans,
Ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies and allocating financial and human resources to maximise profit and efficiency
Lead investment committee to ensure project financing and ROI
Negotiate to finance and manage the fx hedging risk
Director, Secretary of the company, lead all corporate legal function
