The BAO team is a multidisciplinary team that develops applications for opening accounts and managing investment profiles for National Bank clients. We play a key role in the Bank’s digital transformation and are looking for a Functional Analyst to join the BAO team to collaborate with the Wealth Management business lines (National Bank Financial) and capital markets (National Bank Direct Brokerage Inc.).

Your role

• Help develop functional and technical rules and design standards
• Contribute to developing architecture
• Draft functional analyses for the development teams, including expected system behaviours, use cases, and user interactions with the system
• Produce proofs of concept and system prototypes in accordance with client needs
• Participate in and support the business lines in user acceptance testing
• Support the delivery team from the design to implementation of functions

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree OR other degree in a related field and more than 6 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a functional analyst in a software delivery team
• Sound knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban) and/or SAFe framework
• Discipline, ability to take charge, good communication skills
• Understanding of aspects related to functionality testing
• Knowledge of banking operations processes, an asset
• Ability to adapt in an environment undergoing transformation
• Full proficiency in French (spoken and written)
