Hi. We’re The Good Wine Co and we’re a fast growing e-commerce wine retail business. We sell wine online and deliver it to every corner of Aotearoa via courier!

Real. Easy. Honest. Wine. That’s us. Four simple words that sum up what we're about and why we started The Good Wine Co over ten years ago. We wanted to make it simple for people to choose wines they can enjoy with family and friends without all the usual confusing wine jargon and faffing about. 

We need a hard working, motivated Full Time Warehouse Assistant to help the team keep things pumping along in our new warehouse in Auckland's Silverdale/Millwater commercial area.

That means you’ll be helping deal with all inwards and outwards goods, picking, packing and dispatching orders, some customer service including phone based and live chat, helping keep the warehouse spick and span, as well as learning our e-commerce systems. There'll also be the chance to learn more about wine with occasional staff tasting hosted by wine companies and winemakers.

Forklift and/or reach truck operators license is a bonus, but not essential. We will pay for your training and license if needed.

The role needed is a full time, 40 hours per week permanent role. Our brand new office and warehouse is located in Silverdale/Millwater close to the motorway and is open from 8.30am-5.00pm weekdays only. Some overtime during the busy periods (ie. Christmas) may also be available.

• Have a basic knowledge of wine or at least be motivated to learn more
• Be 18 years or older (it’s the law)
• Be physically fit. You’ll be lifting and stacking cases of wines (cancel the gym membership – you’ll be shredded after a few months in the job!)
• Have a full driver’s license
• Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
• Have a great customer service manner
• Honest, reliable, hard working and motivated to learn
• Prepared to obtain a forklift license
• Able to work daytime hours

General Manager's certificate is a bonus, but not essential.
Forklift and/or reach truck operators license is a bonus, but not essential.

Start date is ASAP.
