Job Description

We are seeking a professional and experienced receptionist with great customer service skills. Position offered is a part time role. Ability to also cover staff leave from time to time would be preferred.

  • Training to be able to handle reception and calls to a veterinary hospital

Key job functions:

  • Veterinary reception duties (front of hospital, call answering, appointment booking etc)
  • Client management and billing with Cornerstone practice management software
  • General administrative duties (we already have in place a bookkeeper and practice/business manager)

Successful candidate qualities:

  • Experience in a customer focussed role is essential
  • Experience within the pet care industry is preferred but not essential for someone with a keen interest
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask while still performing tasks to a high level of accuracy
  • Enjoy working in a team environment where mutual respect for all is highly valued

Package and Conditions

  • Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and any additional skills
  • 2 days per week plus occasional additional hours
  • Position is located at Bankstown
