Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Talent Acquisition team. We are a global team, able to hire in any of our locations with a major office. As a Talent Acquisitions Specialist you will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent to join State Street. We work predominantly on revenue generating roles (but not exclusively) in Asset Servicing and Asset Management, helping across EMEA locations and acting as a trusted advisor for managers. Roles typically include Sales, Relationship Management, Product, Marketing, as well as investment roles and key central positions (CAO/Business Management/Controls etc). You will have a chance to build relationships within Global Talent Acquisition team, the wider business, GHR community and professional networks.

This role can be based in London, Dublin or Krakow.

What you will be responsible for

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for the business area/line managers on day-to-day recruitment activity
  • Proactively working with the business managers to understand their recruitment needs; formulate recruitment plans and delivering against same in line with business demands
  • Consulting/advising the hiring managers on the market conditions; selecting the best methods of attracting candidates & reducing the time to hire
  • Advising/coaching line managers on recruitment policies & procedures; external best practice; selection processes, competency frameworks & interview techniques in line with the State Street corporate policies
  • Sourcing candidates directly through innovative advertising, social media and other sources
  • Coordinate all communication with candidates at every stage of the recruitment process
  • Researching innovative recruitment strategies and developing creative solutions to generate high quality CV’s
  • Ensuring all Intranet/Internet job posting details are constantly updated
  • Providing business specific management information on request, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Build relationships with team members, candidates, the GHR wider community and professional network
  • Driving all recruitment activities through the State Street applicant tracking system and ensuring that the local recruitment Policy is adhered to

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Likely to have around 4+ years of experience in recruiting
  • Proven experience in advanced search and sourcing techniques
  • Track record in navigating internal processes and managing internal controls
  • Understanding of financial market is an advantage
  • A solid experience in delivering presentations, workshops to the internal clients
  • Working knowledge of MS Office  
  • Working knowledge of My Workday would be beneficial
  • Degree level education (preferred)
