The DOQ team is responsible for providing shared capabilities to the different NTS Delivery teams within Bell Canada including the following: 

• DevSecOps Enablement leveraging Bell’s shared platforming to enable the 5’Cs of DevOps
  • Continuous Exploration
  • Continuous Integration
  • Continuous Deployment
  • Continuous Testing
  • Continuous Monitoring
• Tooling offering (Gitlab, Jfrog Artifactory, Ansible, SonarQube…)
• Secure SDLC Enablement
• Centralized Test Management / Automation Enablement
• Agile Practice Enablement leveraging the Bell Agile Framework (based on SAFe) 

 Job Duties/ Accountabilities: 

• Collaborate with the Technical lead on the team technology roadmap and align it with the overall the business direction
• Directly contribute to the hands-on technical delivery alongside product owners as required providing design leadership and strategic advisory.
• Drive the team to adopt best practices, implement internal guidelines and have a quality driven approach
• Aligning team’s focus and priorities to enable the delivery of business objectives.
• Participate in the ideation of new services, products, features, and solutions.
• Decisions to continue to develop/expand or abandon the ideas or explorations.
• Formulate and socialize team’s deliver plans/roadmaps and prioritize team’s deliveries. 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies: 

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience working closely with a software development team
• Understanding of Agile, design thinking, Lean UX and Scrum/SaFE frameworks
• Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), including deployment and maintenance processes.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts
• Ability to prioritize competing items and deliverables from various stakeholders
• 5 years + experience with DevOps concept
• Strong experience with Agile / Scrum and DevOps principles, practices and tools
• Scientific, fact-based problem-solving approach
• Team player who can define, establish and communicate long term vision and adaptable to uncertain and changing needs
• Working knowledge of the development flow and technologies involved in the delivery of products and features
• Someone enthusiastic who can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, with a strong aptitude for innovation
• Someone who can slice and dice a business/system problem into an easy modular and maintainable solution with your team 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in working with a decentralized and/or non-collocated team
• Experience working in a multi-team / scaled agile environment
• Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
• Experience working in a DecSecOps team leveraging Jira, Confluence, XRAY, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Selenium, CheckMarx SAST/ OSA, IBM Appscan DAST, IBM Urban Code Release/ Deploy, Openshift, IBM Rational Test Service Virtualization, HP UFT, and Hygieia.
