Responsibilities

The purpose of this role  

The Security Sales Manager will lead the sales strategy and execution, responsible for the business performance of SMB + Corporate Scale across Microsoft. This senior leader will be responsible for the sales strategy, identifying growth opportunities, being a Thought Leader, execution planning, landing, and rhythm of the business across AU/NZ.    ​​

Key Areas of Responsibility-​

  • Identify growth opportunities, monitor performance, synthesize learnings to inform future execution, and provide real-time feedback to the corporate WW and Asia team. ​
  • Land World Wide Sales strategy through coordinated cross-engine execution plans and localize sales plays/GTM approach leveraging programs/investments and offers.​
  • Look across the businesses end-to-end (operated locally and globally) and strive to drive a high degree of integration in reaching out to customers. ​​​
  • Build and empower the Security Partner ecosystem with our Direct and Indirect partners.

Qualifications

What skills do you need to have?

  • Experience in Cyber Security Technology
  • Strategic thinking: Proven ability to develop sales and business strategy options, creating clarity on priorities to empower others to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Sales Execution - proven experience in facilitating collaboration across a business to execute a sales strategy and achieve goals.
  • Collaboration. Experienced in orchestrating and leading virtual teams to develop and drive sales through various engines. 
  • Growth Mindset. Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development. 

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
