Responsibilities:

• Build, Grow & Lead a high performing team with a significant impact on the technical build.
• Work with leaders from across the company to create and drive the technical strategy for Citi’s eCommerce proposition.
• Develop the technical roadmap that delivers business value through innovation & efficiencies and incorporates reliability & scalability principles in alignment with the business goals.
• Demonstrate technical depth that enables direct oversight, problem solving leadership and work with engineers across the group to build new, large features at scale, while improving standards, tooling and processes.
• Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence and stability.
• Contribute to engineering wide initiatives as a member of Citi’s engineering management team.

Qualifications:

• At least 15+ years of strong technical and leadership experience
• Strong career background and technical experience with exposure to Technical Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Design and Development
• Experience with modern technologies in Java, Microservices, Spring boot, Cloud, Restful APIs projects.
• Must have experience in leadership and management of Agile, Scrum Deliverables
• Experience managing global technology teams, working in Hybrid set up.
• Any experience within E-commerce platforms like Hosted Services, Shopping Carts, B2B is highly preferred
• Experience within Payments or Receivables, Financial Services, Financial Transactions projects is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards within Scalability, Delivery Applications, and Resiliency Ecommerce procedures
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
