Job Description
Your role:
- Demonstrate the value of advice to your clients by applying a defined model and advisory approach (investment, financing and protection)
- Build retirement plans, financial plans and retirement withdrawal plans to support clients during the key moments of their financial lives
- Work with a multidisciplinary team (mutual funds and securities) to offer clients an outstanding investment experience and take charge of their financial needs
- Manage long-term relationships with your clients (acquisition, retention) and be diligent in monitoring their accounts
- Promote the service offering associated with this business model to enhance client engagement
- As needed, direct clients to the appropriate expert (insurance specialists, financing experts, the full-service advisor (IIROC), people in the commercial banking sector, etc.)
- Adhere to compliance and risk management rules
- Maintain appropriate communication to satisfy clients according to established standards
Supported by your leaders, you'll collaborate with some 30 advisors. You'll be put into small multidisciplinary teams to better serve the clients in your portfolio. You'll deliver a 360-degree advisory approach that helps clients meets their financial goals and is adapted to their life events.
You will be working downtown in Montreal alongside your team, serving clients remotely over the phone and in vdeo-conference.
You will work Monday to Friday in a hybrid work schedule (standard office hours). Depending on how client needs evolve, some evening shifts may become available.

Required competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in administration with a major in finance or related to the sector of activity
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an advanced investment role
- Current mutual fund representative (MFR) licence
- Business development experience
- Excellent knowledge of the overall advisory approach (investment, financing and protection)
- Ability to develop lasting relationships with clients
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills
- Excellent French and English communication skills
Preferred competencies:
- Canadian Securities Course licence. an asset
- Financial planner certification, an asset
