Restaurant Manager Our client, GKG QLT Pty Ltd trading as Tandoori Oven, is looking for a responsible Restaurant Manager who will organise and control the restaurant operations, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. The role seeks to provide customers with a pleasant dining experience and to effectively manage employees towards safeguarding the profitability of the restaurant. It is situated in Bentley Village, Shop 4/96 McLaughlin Rd, Bentley Park QLD 4869.
Located in Bentley Park, Tandoori Oven restaurant, aims to maintain the high expectations of world-renowned North-Indian food by offering authentic flavours of North India. The restaurant has experienced chefs from regional places of India to present the most perfect curry. Other options include a Vegan, Gluten-free and Nut-free diet as well.
Tasks and responsibilities: • Planning menus in consultation with chefs • Planning and organising special functions • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions • Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service • Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff • May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
Qualifications: • Should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a restaurant • Should have a Diploma in Hospitality Management • Should be a good team leader that promotes teamwork among members
