Summary of the role

This role is within the Research Development and Management pillar and as Research Development Adviser for the Health cluster, you would support the discipline of Sports and Health Sciences.

You will work closely with a team of specialists in the provision of research development (including costings and pricing activities), supporting and advising academics across the research project life cycle from idea to impact, supporting both the research development and financial elements.

You will develop specialist knowledge of specific funders and building and maintain strong working relationships with them to ensure effective communication and that the University if best placed to respond to research opportunities.

You will have experience supporting the preparation of bids to external bodies, including budget preparation and guidance. You will be excellent at delivering deadlines and taking ownership of your projects, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
