The role

As a Privacy Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality guidance, advice and training in relation Privacy Compliance within APM.

As a newly created position, you will play a key role in responding to Freedom of Information (FOI), Privacy requests, enquiries and complaints in accordance with legislative requirements as well as APM policies and procedures. You will ensure that all grievances, privacy breaches and/or internal reviews are dealt with in the proper manner.

To be successful in this role…

Acute attention to detail and ability to analyse and assess will help you manage remediation efforts relating to FOI and Privacy issues. You will assist in the identification, assessment and implementation of strategies aimed at reducing privacy and data governance risks across APM.

You will have:

• Tertiary qualifications within FOI, privacy or legal and/or demonstrated experience in a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in the administration of FOI and Privacy legislation and a strong understanding of regulatory, legislative and contractual privacy requirements
• Ability to review, analyse and organise documentary and factual evidence
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
