About us Own Body was created through a desire to help clients understand and maximise their own bodies’ potential in the comfort and convenience of their own space. We are a team of highly qualified and reliable Physiotherapists, OTs and Podiatrists working across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria, Brisbane, Hobart, Launceston and Sydney, providing personable, high quality, affordable care to our valued clients.
We have been around for over 12 years and have grown our team to over 70 clinicians in this time. Having always been mobile, we have the experience, processes, technology and support in place to ensure our team feel connected and have everything they need to focus on what's important.
The opportunity Own Body is seeking a number of dedicated Podiatrists to join our team on a full time, part time or casual basis in the inner north and inner/outer west of Melbourne (with multiple other positions available across Melbourne and Australia).
Your caseload commonly includes general skin and nail care, diabetic foot care, biomechanical/footwear assessment, wound care & prevention, post-surgical, orthotic/offloading therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation therapy for clients with disabilities. You will also have the opportunity to treat clients with a variety of conditions, co-morbidities and some complex cases to get you really thinking! Clinicians are not required to take on clients outside of their skill set.
You will be experienced in biomechanical assessment, general skin and nail care, wound prevention education and management, orthotic prescription and fitting, nail surgery and diabetes (foot and limb health) assessment/treatment.
You will not be required to work in Aged Care facilities.
For full time clinicians, the package is based on a full time salary of $78-90K, plus super (dependent on level of experience). Additional opportunity to earn generous and achievable monthly bonuses. Full time clinicians are also eligible for a company car.
For part time clinicians, package is based on an hourly rate, plus super, plus travel allowance (dependent on level of experience). Additional opportunity to earn generous and achievable monthly bonuses.
For casual clinicians, the rate is subject to casual loading and inclusive of travel allowance, plus super (depending on level of experience).
