Duties and responsibilities
- Manage internal movement of product - putaway, replenishment, order processing and shipping - $200M annually
- Lead and delegates duties and provide direction to bargaining unit associates
- Ongoing review and modify work processes as required in order to obtain maximum efficiency
- Staffing resource planning, recruitment and performance management
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Perform all duties as assigned
- Follow published policies related to health and safety rules specific to the workplace as provided by senior management. Promote health and safety within the workplace. Report any potential problems or unsafe situations to supervisors and/or senior management.
Skills and Abilities
- Position requires someone who possesses good communication skills
- Leadership experience, managing people is preferred
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
- Comfortable with Microsoft office suite
- Must be able to meet deadlines and continue to be well organized in a fast paced environment
- 2- 3 year college/ university degree or equivalent is preferred
