Summary of the role

The role will provide front line finance and administrative support to academics and partners across the externally funded research grant lifecycle, for externally funded research projects held within the Institute.

In co-ordination with Research Services, the post holder will take responsibility for a range of the key financial elements of the portfolio externally funded research projects, and support for the financial aspects of the development of new funding opportunities with LEEP, including overall project financial management, support for financial budget planning, forecasting and in-year monitoring of the projects, and support for costings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and friendly research group, offering experience across a range of world leading research projects. The role will act as a key and main point of contact between the LEEP Directors and the wider University in relation to the financial and project management elements of the LEEP research grant portfolio, and will working closely alongside teams in both Research Services and Innovation, Impact and Business.
