Job Description
Your main responsibilities:
- Assess loan insurance claims (disability and critical illness and life) and claims under the Credit Card Payment Protection Plan in compliance with NBLIC's internal standards, requirements, processes and procedures, while conveying the Bank's values with a client-centric attitude
- Inform the insureds of the requirements concerning their claim, and build clients’ trust while adhering to the Bank’s service dimensions (integrity, ability to listen, respect and corporate orientations)
- Determine the benefits payable and the requirements to allow for the subsequent payment of other benefits by obtaining the appropriate information, by asking questions to your coaches and following recommendations and advice received during training.
Competencies required :
- A three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field
- Experience processing insurance claims, preferably life, critical illness and disability insurance
- Experience in the life and health insurance field required
- Excellent abilities to write in French and English
- Customer service experience required in order to carry out detailed telephone interviews with clientele
- Knowledge of the medical field, an asset
- Have completed certain LOMA or CIA courses, an asset
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec)
The compensation associated with this position is available on the My HR portal. Look up "salary scales" in the search field on the portal. While only one level is posted, the manager has the latitude to position the selected candidate at a lower level, depending on their profile.
