CHEF 

• Recruit and hire staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers. 

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation. 

• Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs. 

• Plan, direct, and supervise the food preparation and cooking activities of kitchens 

• Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Check the quantity and quality of received products. 

• Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients. 

• Prepare and cook foods of all types, on a regular basis and for special guests or functions. 

• Order or requisition food and other supplies needed21 to ensure efficient operation. Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food. 

• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs. 

• Diploma level qualification with at least 2 years with full time experience. 

• Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food. COOK 

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment 

• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) 

• Cook food in various utensils or grillers 

• Check food while cooking to stir or turn 

• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served 

• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen 

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly 

• Check quality of ingredients 

• Certificate ¾ in a commercial cookery field with at least 2 years full time experience. 

• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages The selected candidate must : 

• have a passion for good food 

• have an enthusiastic personality and a positive attitude 

• have excellent communication and social skills 

• be able to work as a team under work pressure 

• be willing to work flexible hours and on weekends Job Type: Full-time Salary: $57,000.00 – $69,000.00 per year Schedule:
