The College wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to work 3.5 hours per week to support the work of Dr Gemma Sharp. This GW4 funded post is available immediately.
The successful applicant will assist with the running of the Menarche, Menstruation, Menopause and Mental Health (4M) consortium. They will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating content (interviews, blogs, etc) for our website, co-ordinating a seminar series, and carrying out administrative tasks (minuting meetings, writing agendas, etc). They may also help with discussing research priorities and ideas, conducting literature reviews, supervising interns, and setting up teaching and learning activities.
About you
The successful applicant will be able to liaise professionally with academics, clinicians and research stakeholders from different backgrounds. They will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically.
Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to communicate effectively, and work with a high degree of organisation.
