Hybrid working - Whilst we are happy to consider remote/hybrid working, our team is based on Main Campus in Exeter and we really feel visiting and spending time as a team will be valuable to being fully engaged with the team.
We are looking for an individual with great Front-End Development skills to join our fun team as a UI Developer! As a UI Developer you'll work closely with user experience (UX) designers and other design specialists.
You will make sure that every page and every step a user will experience in their interaction with the finished product will conform to the overall vision created by UX designers.
You'll have freedom to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences in agile teams. You'll be empowered to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
This role will be an essential part of our Engineering Chapter who:
- Create immersive high-quality solutions by applying new and innovative methods and technology. Following an agile development approach with DevOps at the core.
- Follow DevOps practices automating as many tasks as possible to deliver solutions.
- Delivers new services, and maintains existing platforms to enable delivery

- Ability to break down barriers and build lasting relationships
- An eye for detail, a nous for problem solving and a flair for creating a slick interface.
- Can work with wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc and can bring them all to life.
- Skilled in Javascript, Typescript and any of Angular, React, Flutter, Dart, Node.js.
- Ideally experienced developing Mobile apps (Native Android or iOS) with an interest working with Flutter in future.
- Development experience integrating with web services. Experience with RESTful Services and OpenAPI advantageous.
- Can produce readable, maintainable and testable code.
- Write unit tests and other automated tests.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
