About the role

This position provides support to the CEO including a range of executive, administrative and confidential secretarial services. Importantly, the role will managing key relationships within the Trust and with external stakeholders.

A key priority for the role is managing the email inbox, schedules and appointments of the CEO. The role will be required to attend to a diverse range of matters submitted for the consideration of the CEO and determine necessary priorities and approval methods.

The role will also provide secretariat support to the governance function of the Trust including collation and distribution of Board and Committee papers and minute taking for Board and Committee meetings.

This is a part time (0.60FTE), 12 month fixed term contract position based in the Melbourne Office. We welcome flexible work and working from home arrangements, the ideal arrangement for this role would provide contact and support for the CEO over 4-5 shorter days.

The role offers a full time base salary of $74,921 – $78,132 p.a plus 10.5% super (pro-rata for part time is $44,952.60 – $46,879.20).


About you 

We are searching for someone who thrives in a small team and enjoys lending a hand to a variety of tasks.  The successful applicant will bring;

  • 2+ years executive support experience or experience in an administrative role reporting directly to senior management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Proven intermediate to advanced skills in electronic systems such as databases, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A relevant tertiary education and/or experience in the field of stakeholder relations would be well regarded
  • A knowledge of government processes would be highly regarded but not necessary
