About the Role: Vue Events is one of Melbourne's premium event brands that offers bespoke event services in unique event spaces.  As a division within the Vue Group, Vue Events is renowned for it's delivery of beautifully crafted events ranging from weddings, corporate events and external events across our suite of venues.

We are looking for a professional individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor, who is committed to executing and delivering the best experience for our clients and guests. 

You will be a self-motivated person who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and who can demonstrate a strong customer service focus. We are renowned for our high-level event execution and are dedicated to sharing our extensive knowledge to develop our people to be the best they can be.

This is a hands-on role where floor service and interaction with clients is important to building the business. This can be a full-time or casual position which requires flexibility and weekend work, your shifts may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the smooth and efficient execution of Functions and Events
• Act as an Operational Supervisor providing effective hands-on leadership and direction
• Providing professional and efficient service, with strong attention to detail
• Focus on continual improvement and staff training
• Administrative and reporting functions

• Experience in the operational running of Functions & Events
• Demonstrate experience in leading and inspiring teams
• Possess strong communication skills and pride yourself on delivering exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously whilst building and maintaining relationships with all departments
• Possess a 'can do' attitude with professional presentation
• Have a passion for and experience in the food and beverage industry
• A willingness to bring ideas to the table to improve overall product 
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• An ability to adapt to change and able to work in a dynamic environment
• Be flexible to work a variety of hours which includes evenings and weekends based on events
