Essential Qualifications

• 3rd level degree in similar field or equivalent experience

Essential Skills / Experience

• Highly experienced technical architect in designing architectures for large-scale data warehouse projects and programmes working in complex, multi-vendor change delivery organisations
• Subject matter expertise data/data-warehousing knowledge on Teradata EDW platform and / or Informatica ETL or similar technology
• Experience of designing solutions to run on the EDL, Cloudera Hadoop distribution
• Experience in modern engineering practices and technologies
• Experience with Data Modelling (Logical and Physical), Erwin data modelling tools, Teradata FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model), ETL and enterprise reporting tools
• Continuous improvement and innovative mind-set
• Financial services experience would be advantageous
• Broad experience in complex enterprise IT estates with an ability to make valuable contributions to projects and programmes quickly
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to take a lead role and take ownership of complex data integration deliveries

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience of EDW and EDL cloud offerings and deployment approaches
• Teradata FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model), ETL and enterprise reporting tools
• Experience of working in Banking or Financial Services
• IT Architecture qualifications such as CITA-A or TOGAF
• Cloud qualifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland / United Kingdom with the primary office location as Dublin/Bristol to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
