Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Psychologist to join our team at Mandurah.

We can offer a competetive salary, performance incentives, tailored career progression plan, supportive leadership, ongoing CDP budget as well as other organisational benefits like purchased leave. Reach out to danielle.stanton@earlystartaustralia.com.au for a confidential inquiry.

What we offer you:

Early Start Australia is a national organisation - our clinics offer you the small practice feel with big corporate support.  We have friendly and well-organised administration teams booking appointments, invoicing and managing NDIS changes, leaving our therapists to get on with what is most important to them.

When you join us, you will have access to some of the best brains across Australia. Early Start Australia provides additional professional leave days on top of your annual leave; a professional development budget for each therapist; monthly in-house training; and regular supervision.

You have the opportunity for flexible working hours, offering permanent part-time or permanent full-time employment.

The opportunity:

Providing early intervention and therapy services to support children and families maximising independence and participation, you will take responsibility to assess, plan, implement and evaluate psychological interventions based on an individual’s sensory, cognitive and physical needs in collaboration with the individuals, families and relevant others. This includes:

  • Conducting standardised clinical assessments to determine goals/areas of needs.

  • Providing evidence informed therapy services to clients and NDIS participants building on family/client strengths, needs and priorities.
  • Support inclusion and participation for clients in community activities of their choice.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports.
  • Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review.

What do you need to join?
