What will you do?
 

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Small Business, you will design credit strategies that control adjudication and exposure management decisions for small business lending products

• You will collaborate with teams across the company (Risk Management, Product teams, Tech and Collections) to identify credit risks and financial opportunities

• You will develop solutions to these complex and constrained problems by combining data science (predictive modeling and regression analysis) with product knowledge and regulatory policy

• You will present the outcomes and recommendations of your work to a wide array of senior stakeholders and drive the approval and implementation of your credit strategies

• You will build and maintain dashboards that monitor the performance and health of the portfolio

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
 

• 2+ years of experience performing advanced analytics or data science, ideally for credit lending or deposit products

• Proficient technical knowledge of data querying tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, etc.

• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

• Ability to create and articulate a compelling business case to senior management and other stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• MBA and/or Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Statistics or other quantitative field of study

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in financial services industry

• Broad understanding of risk management, credit strategy, and analytics

• Foundational knowledge of financial lending products
