Purpose of the Role
You will provide professional, friendly and outstanding service to business and personal customers. You will be a visible presence in the branch, delivering a more personal customer experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Guided by the County Plan represent BOI in a specific market or geographical area as the face of BOI in local business and in the communities developing new business and growing market share
- Lead a high performing team across a cluster of branches
- Support Business & Community Networks (virtual and physical) taking responsibility to curate or build new networks as opportunity arises through local intermediaries/chambers/contacts
- Generate sales opportunities and build customer preference and refer business to Direct/Advisors
- Conduct non-bank and existing Customer meetings in line with Cluster Lead/Head of County objectives and BDF - in the Customers location of choice
- Advocate on behalf of the Customer and drive improvements to the Customer Experience impacting NPS
- Connect customers both business and personal to each other and seek opportunities to present appropriate BOI service offerings and propositions in order to strengthen the customer product service relationship
- Proactively survey the market develop tangible MI to understand and develop insights and spot opportunities to optimize business growth in order to create and build relationships
- Take ownership for key growth line in some counties depending on the scale of the markets
- Represent their market within BDF and deliver on elements as per county plan
- Ownership of elements of the Enterprise Agenda including Enterprise activities and sector events etc.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Credit experience with ability to maintain high standards in lending and good track record in submitting high quality Credit Applications.
- Proven Track Record in achieving sales and income through quality FNR's with evidence of strong dedication to the delivery of Sales Models.
- Strong Customer focus and validated dedication to improving Customer Experience and delivery of initiatives.
- Strong external focus with good understanding of local market strategy with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Ability to establish relationships with key Customers/Influencers
- Capable of taking a Leadership role within the team.
- Business lending and credit knowledge!
- Read and interpret business accounts
- Business Development ability and experience with skill and ability to convert business, close a sale and win the business
- Comfortable with a public profile and skilled when communicating publicly
- Ability to influence senior business and community leaders
