About the Role: As an Associate Level Architectural Draftsperson you will be a technical professional who efficiently manages projects, encourages and nurtures diverse ideas and opinions, manages risk and ensures all work is completed to the standards and quality of Weston Williamson + Partners. You will assist in the management of your discipline as required. As an Associate Level Architectural Draftsperson you will be required to show a specialist approach and expertise in design and delivery. Furthermore, you will be required to demonstrate an ability to formulate and articulate personal design and delivery strengths, as well as manage others to do the same.
Key Accountabilities: • Assisting in providing technical and project management expertise • Helping to manage multiple Projects and Design Teams • Contributing the development of creative and contextually responsive design solutions on a range of projects • Assisting in monitoring project performance in terms of time scale, delivery, cost and profit through the development of work plans • Assisting to interpret design concepts on projects and participating and contributing to project teams • Overall leadership and management of the BIM Group and BIM procedures • Conducting and assessing all Revit audits • Assisting with Revit family production and improving workflows • Overseeing the wider BIM project management and BIM teams on multi-disciplinary projects • Responsible for ensuring consistency and high-quality BIM outputs across all projects • Responsible for managing and maintaining BIM360 setup for all projects • Assisting in recording all communications with clients and consultants and liaising regularly with the project team regarding project status • Helping to build relationships and developing leads • Helping to identify and target future decision makers • Helping to identify and target new projects in existing and new sectors
Key Requirements: • Diploma or higher qualifications in Architecture or a relevant discipline • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in technical design, minimum 3 years’ experience in BIM management • Extensive experience in working as part of a team on major construction projects • Advance communication skills • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaise with both internal and external team members • Ability to be proactive and work independently • Experience managing BIM and/or BIM360 for large scale, multidisciplinary rail and infrastructure projects
