Description of business unit

The Process Improvement Team is made up of the following teams: Process Mapping, Operational Risk Data & Reporting, Risk Assurance and an expanded 2LOD Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) team. This team will focus on revising and improving how the Group controls and supervises operational risk into the future with process maps and RCSA's at the core of operational risk management.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and coordinate the Group's process modelling system, ARIS, working closely with all areas of the Process Improvement team to ensure the system is used to its full capability and meets the ongoing requirements of the Group.

Key Accountabilities

  • Setup and ongoing maintenance and oversight of the ARIS architecture & libraries
  • Design and develop the reporting capabilities on ARIS to meet the requirements of the Group
  • Configuration of ARIS system for the Process Mapping team ensuring it remains fit for purpose for the Group's requirements.
  • Develop detailed understanding of ARIS standard setup and functionality
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day administration of ARIS including user set up, licence allocation, recertification, etc.
  • Ensure ARIS system procedures remain accurate and up-to-date with Group's policies and standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • n/a

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Confirmed capability and expertise of ARIS Architect.
  • Expertise in designing and building ARIS reports.
  • Understanding of the use of large libraries of process maps to extract key data sets that can be used for process improvement.
  • A strong understanding of process mapping industry standards.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and lead to successful conclusion.
