The opportunity
As the Area Managed Services Client Executive (CE), you will ensure that EY executes sales opportunities and drive innovation across the Finance and Accounting Managed Services Portfolio (with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Tax “Back Office†processes) within all sector markets within the ASEAN Region, located in Japan.
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide customer facing and market input to the Area MS and Area Solution/Offering leaders to develop and execute Managed Services to go market plans specifically in the areas of Finance Transformation Portfolio (with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Tax “Back Office†processes)
- Execute on the MS go to market strategy across the Area that is utilised by Area and Regional teams to identify, design, develop with clients, and execute high quality MS pursuits
- Drive new and existing qualified business opportunities and maximise (by revenue and term) new sales and cross sell opportunities Experience in selling solutions that are based on a global delivery model capability
- Foster and maintain relationships across target buyers within strategic clients
- Develop and maintain partner and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with our aligned sales community to communicate and promote strategic solutions internally
- Support area/regional/solution leaders with the development MS GTM (Go To Market) programmes and monitor progress – comprising awareness development, solution prioritisation, campaign design and development, client engagement and pursuit execution.
Skills and attributes for success
- You will have experience of in the solution selling and the complexities of managed services deals within professional services or a similar technology organisation, ideally aligned to Finance, Accounting and Tax organisation. Experience in delivery sales and customers outcomes across an internal matrix organisation as well as multiple customer stakeholders
- The influencing skills to successfully collaborate with senior client and EY stakeholders
- Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment
- The ability to effectively forecast, review projection of performance and targets
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s Degree with an advanced degree preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have
- 12+ years of experience executing complex and large managed service sales deals Finance and Accounting Managed Services or Finance Transformation Portfolio (with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Tax “Back Office†processes preferably in a partnership/professional services or technology provider environment)
- Experience in a leadership capacity in a managed services environment
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and resources in matrix managed internal environment.
- Experience structuring, managing and closing multimillion and multi-year managed services deals
- Board presentation experience or experience as a board member
- Knowledge and understanding of outsourcing and offshoring operating and cost/pricing models for managed services
