Job Description
Estimations
- Drives the Estimation process in order to produce cost and timelines for projects and initiatives.
- Helps coordinate the key team members across the Data Factory including Architecture and Engineering to produce accurate and timely estimates
Capacity/Allocations Tracking
- Works with other leaders in the Data Factory to plan the allocation of resources against agreed initiatives.
Resourcing
- Ensure team members meet the specification of the role
- Work with our AMO colleagues to ensure we receive the right quality partner resources.
Prioritisations
- Work with the Factory leadership team (via Governance) to agree work package prioritisation
- Work with AMO to determine the financial status of the Factory (estimate vs actuals)
Maintaining and improving document frameworks
- Reviewing critical artifacts and driving a clear and consistent approach to managing knowledge across the Factory Domain
- Supporting the periodic production of performance Scorecards, Kanban reports and resource tracking
Who are You
Essential Qualifications
- 3rd level degree or equivalent experience
- Agile Project Management qualification
Essential Skills / Experience
- Project Management experience within an Agile delivery model
- Progressive experience in performance management or portfolio management
- Superb skills using the suite of Microsoft Office products
- Proactive and flexible approach; ability to work effectively with multiple priorities in parallel
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with strong customer focus
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
- Continuous Improvement attitude with ability to improve existing analysis and processes
- Deep analytical and problem-solving skills
